Abbotsford, BC – The Abbotsford Heat in partnership with Abbotsford School District 34 are pleased to announce the inaugural School Day Game at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre Tuesday, March 6, 2011 with opening faceoff scheduled for 10:30AM PST.

o On-ice at intermission we will pit students and teachers in a feature ‘game’
o Special in-game activities
 Integrating the students into time-outs
 Gate-giveaway of 5,000 “GO HEAT GO” thundersticks
 Concessions will offer a unique ‘student’s lunch’ for $5
 The Heat Team Store will offer items at a lower than usual price for the kids ($1, $2, $5 and $10 items)
 Students from Clayburn Middle will be performing both anthems, acapella, in 3-part harmony
