BY THE NUMBERS: MAX REINHART

In this issue of 'By The Numbers', we take a look at the season forward Max Reinhart had with the Abbotsford Heat.

View from Pinder's Perch:

There's something about first impressions that seems tough to fight off. For Heat fans, I don't imagine many will forget the debut of Max Reinhart last Spring in the final AHL game of the regular season.

The Vancouver product led a skeleton squad (numerous vets were resting) to a seventh consecutive victory with a two-goal performance in his first ever professional game. The game may have been rather meaningless with the Heat destined to finish as the fourth seed in the Western Conference, but Reinhart's performance earned him a spot in four of the eight Heat Calder Cup contests. Lofty expectations will follow this heady and humble forward in his coming 20-year-old season.
