In this issue of 'By The Numbers', we take a look at the season forward Quintin Laing had with the Abbotsford Heat.

On pace for a career high in goals at the end of January, Quintin Laing's season was blindsided injuries. The hard checking penalty killer, and second year captain of the Heat had just amassed (6-2-8) over eight games before getting injured and would only score once more on the season in his final 23 games he dressed in.

Laing's presence in the room, on the bench, and in the room cannot be understated. On a team with many, many experienced veterans, the former Washington Capital was the heart and soul of the club.
