Abbotsford, BC - Abbotsford Heat General Manager Jay Feaster announced two transactions today. Defenceman James Martin has been reassigned to the Abbotsford Heat from the Utah Grizzlies, while Defenceman Nick Tuzzolino has been returned on loan to the Utah Grizzlies – the ECHL affiliate of the Abbotsford Heat and the Calgary Flames.
Martin has played 44 games with the Grizzlies this this season recording three goals, 10 assists, 13 points and 54 penalty minutes. The second-year pro played 28 games with the Heat last season after signing with the Calgary Flames out of Training Camp in the Fall. Martin was a member of the Kootenay Ice team that participated in the 2011 Memorial Cup after winning the WHL Championship.
