ABBOTSFORD, BC – Abbotsford Heat will host the Vancouver Canucks AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves this Friday and Saturday. The games are part of the BIG Ticket games with the Legends of Hockey Series commencing on Friday night, and a post-game concert on Saturday night. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. PT both nights – RADIO: teamradio.ca, TV: SportsNet One on Satuday, October 20.

The pre-game party has activations presented by official Abbotsford Heat partners and includes some fantastic activities:

• Sleeman Draught Zone Taphouse – which will feature Legends of Hockey Cliff Ronning and Geoff Courtnall for a pre-game autograph signing session*
• Team 1040 – on location –playing music and holding a contest to giveaway a custom-made Heat hockey stick, made by Cliff Ronning’s company, Base Hockey
• Heat Generation – meet members of the Heat’s official booster club and discover how you can get involved.
• The Honda Way Chuck a Puck is back for another season with proceeds going to KidsSport Abbotsford. The grand prize features a Honda Way gift basket with $200 giftcard to Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa, an oil change and a full car detail. The second prize is a custom-made Heat branded Base Hockey stick.
  
• Fan Mob – you’ve heard of flash mobs, there are also cash mobs, which are people who support local businesses, now Abbotsford has a “fan mob”. *Autograph session – All current 2012 - 13 season ticket holders have the opportunity to attend the VIP autograph session on Friday, October 19, from 5:00p.m.PT to 6:00p.m. PT. Following the VIP session, a public autograph session is open to fans pre-game from 6:00p.m. PT to 6:30p.m. PT. The early bird gets the worm - arrive early to get your item signed. Please note fans are limited to one signed item per person.

Fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for this Friday’s game. Fans are encouraged to act quickly and purchase their tickets for this Big ticket game.
