Taylor, Barry Brust and Leland Irving could all be at training camp come the 28th of September depending who is deemed eligible to play in the AHL if there is a labour stoppage in the NHL.
Head Coach Troy G. Ward has returned to the Fraser Valley from his Wisconsin home where he spends summers with his family, and is preparing for his second season at the helm of the club. Ward was an Assistant Coach for the 2010-11 season before setting a franchise record last year as the Head Coach of the club.
More familiar faces are sure to be spotted at Ledgeview Golf Course on the 27th of September when the Heat Foundation's 3rd annual Golf Tournament tees-off. The following day is the opening of training camp where the making of the 2012-13 roster will begin with about 40 players aiming for a spot on the club.
