Groove Force is proud to join forces with the Abbotsford Heat in bringing together the community and making hockey games a fun-filled way to groove together and celebrate the team and their games.

FAN MOB. WHAT IS IT?

Inspired by two mob concepts; the first concept is a “Flash Mob” where a group of people who meet at a certain time and place and begin a “spontaneous” routine, and the second concept, the “Cash Mob” where people gather to support local business in a fun way.

The combination of the two, sprinkled with some fan “fare” and “flare” equals the Fan Mob. The idea is to have local fans gather together to cheer on the Abbotsford Heat while supporting a worthy cause.

HOW DO I BECOME A PART OF THE FAN MOB?

Join the Fan Mob on December 14th for the Abbotsford Heat annual Teddy Bear Toss. Participants are encouraged to purchase the minimum $15 game ticket in advance of game day. The ticket is a 2 for 1. You get a ticket to the December 14th game and one to the December 15th game. If you can’t attend the December 15th game, you can donate your ticket to the United Way and give a family a holiday experience. Some fans will want to spend more to get close to the action, which is exactly what the Abbotsford Heat and United Way need right now – your support and your commitment to having a great time at a professional hockey game.

HOW DO I GET GAME TICKETS?

WHERE DO I MEET THE FAN MOB?

You will meet the Fan Mob leader next to the box office outside at 6:30 p.m. If you are going to be late for puck drop, just get your tickets and get in to meet them in the stands!

WHAT DO I WEAR?

We want to 'rock the red' as much as possible! Wear all the red that you can find/dig up and if you want to paint your faces, and make signs, we encourage that too. Whatever you can dream up to make the most of the 'fandamonium' is what we want! Note – one Fan Mobber will be awarded with a 'prize' for being the BEST FAN MOBBER! Prize to be awarded post-game by your team leader.
