Donation Requests

The Abbotsford Heat organization realizes the important role we play in the community; and the responsibilities that go along with making Abbotsford a better place to live, work and play. With that in mind the Abbotsford Heat are pleased to support a number of charities and not-for-profit organizations throughout the province of BC.

In addition to supporting various philanthropic initiatives, the Abbotsford Heat also actively support and take a keen interest in the development and well being of the following areas:

Development of grass roots hockey
Children’s health and wellness, including fitness and education
Repressing risk-related behavior such as drug use, gang involvement and crime

Due to the overwhelming number of requests we are only able to donate to events that fall under the community mandates of the Abbotsford Heat. We have established procedures for requesting support for your event/charity:

Requests must be made four weeks prior to the event date no exceptions.
Requests must be on official organization letterhead.
Donations will only be granted to organizations and events hosted in the province of British Columbia.
Organizations must be not-for-profit in nature.

We will respond to each request no later than two weeks prior to the event. All donation decisions made by the Community Relations Department are final. Unfortunately we are not able to accept applications from individuals. Please mail, fax or email your request to the following:
