The Abbotsford Heat will be at the Abbotsford Save-On-Foods location (2140 Sumas Way) on February 6th. Save-On Foods will be raffling great prizes with all the proceeds going to the Rice Raiser campaign. This global campaign helps to educate children and youth to prepare them for the tremendous social problem of global hunger facing the world. Act Locally- Act globally is their motto.
“The Abbotsford Heat are proud to help out the community any way we can. If having team members show up will help build on the tremendous commitment Save-On-Foods has made to improving the local community and making a difference abroad, the Heat are happy to assist,” said Heat Community Relations Manager, Sarah Garrett.
Two Heat players will be on hand from 1pm-3pm signing autographs and meeting fans.
