Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today that forwards Jamie Lundmark and Colin Stuart have been assigned to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
Lundmark, a 6', 195 pound centreman from Edmonton, AB, played last season with the Calgary Flames and the Quad City Flames. In 27 games with Calgary, Lundmark scored 8 goals and 8 assists for 16 points and 17 PIMS. With Quad Coty last season, Lundmark potted 15 goals and 37 assists for 52 points in just 54 games played.
Stuart, who stands at 6'2" and 205 pounds, hails from Rochester, MN. Last season, Stuart split time between the Chicago Wolves of the AHL and the Atlanta Thrashers of the NHL. With the Thrashers, stuart played in 33 games, scoring 5 goals and adding 3 helpers for 8 points and 18 PIMS. In Chicago, Stuart scored 9 and added six helpers in 42 games.
The HEAT will continue their preseason schedule in Vancouver tonight versus the UBC Thunderbirds. Game time is 7 pm.
