FLAMES ASSIGN JASON JAFFRAY TO ABBOTSFORD

Calgary, AB – Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today forward Jason Jaffray has been assigned to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. Jaffray, a native of Rimbey, Alberta, played in one game with the Flames this season. He was second in points (49) and third in goals (23) and assists (26) with the Manitoba Moose (AHL) last season despite only playing 56 games. Jaffray was also an offensive threat in the post season in 2009 as he finished second in goals (9), assists (10) and points (19) with the Moose as they lost in the Calder Cup Finals.
