Show off your shootout skills (or saves!) in this fun and exciting competition open to any and all hockey players from ages 9 to 99. Put bragging rights on the line with your friends or show up your teammates in a classic shootout with others in your same age category! Qualifying shooters and goalies from each age category will be invited to compete in the Light the Lamp Shootout Finals in March immediately following a Heat home game at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre!

Each shooter is guaranteed three shots, and each goalie is guaranteed to face a minimum of 8 shots! Sign up today as space is limited and this will fill up fast!

Please note: Participants not of the age of majority must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate. All participants are required to wear full equipment (helmets are mandatory) and must submit a signed waiver prior to stepping onto any Light the Lamp Shootout ice time. Registration fee includes one Heat home game ticket to the game after which the Light the Lamp Shootout Finals occurs. You will be contacted by a Heat representative.
